The U.S. Senior Women’s Open Championship

The United States Golf Association announced the establishment of a new championship, the U.S. Senior Women’s Open Championship, which will debut July 15-18, 2018.
The inaugural championship format will mirror that of the U.S. Open: 72 holes of stroke play on four consecutive days with a cut after 36 holes. To mirror the other Open championships conducted by the USGA, the U.S. Senior Women’s Open will be a walking-only competition.
Chicago Golf Club is a private golf club in Wheaton, Il.  in the United States. The course is the oldest 18-hole course in North America, and was, in 1894, one of the five founding clubs of the United States Golf Association (USGA). The club, which has hosted several prominent events, including multiple U.S. Opens  and Walker Cups was founded by renowned course designer and World Golf Hall of Fame member Charles B. McDonald.
